Insurance Solutions for Businesses and Individuals

Vehicle insurance

Mandatory liability, casco, and assistance insurance for vehicle owners and operators.

If you or your business owns and/or operates a vehicle (passenger car, lorry, bus, tractor unit, trailer, agricultural tractor, construction machinery, slow-moving vehicle, electric scooter, etc.), you are required to have compulsory motor third-party liability insurance (MTPL) to cover damage caused to others. You need MTPL insurance if you buy a new or used vehicle, inherit one, import one from abroad, change the registered operator, or if your previous insurance has ended for any reason while the vehicle is still in use.

You need comprehensive motor insurance (Casco) if you want protection against damage to your own vehicle — including collision damage, broken glass, theft, robbery or damage caused by natural events — regardless of whether the damage was caused by you, an unknown person, a wild or domestic animal, or a natural or weather-related event. Casco insurance is particularly important if the vehicle was purchased with financing or is leased. It is most commonly taken out for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, but suitable insurers and offers are also available for other vehicle categories.

If you run a business with a larger fleet of vehicles, fleet insurance — whether MTPL or Casco — can provide a cost-effective solution with simpler administration.

Home insurance

Insurance for residential houses, apartments, holiday homes, mobile homes, and condominiums, tailored to your needs.

If you own, rent or use a residential or holiday property (house, condominium apartment, garage, outbuildings or other structures on the property), you can insure it against a wide range of risks. Many circumstances can threaten both the property and the belongings inside it, including fire and explosion, natural disasters and catastrophic events, water damage, burst pipes, blocked drains, broken glass and burglary. Today’s increasingly extreme weather conditions can also cause major damage far more frequently than in the past.

If you live in a condominium, you can take out insurance for the entire building — including apartments, common areas, privately owned garages, offices and commercial premises — as well as separate insurance for individual apartments, offices and business premises.

In addition to basic coverage, home insurance policies offer a wide range of optional protections, allowing them to be tailored to your needs. For example:

  • liability for damage caused to others and pet insurance
  • loss of personal documents and bank cards
  • home assistance services
  • smart devices, mobile phones and IT equipment
  • accident and health insurance packages
  • jewellery, precious metals, works of art and cash

This way, you get the protection you want while paying only for what you truly need.

Property insurance

Your business assets are secure: protection against unexpected events and disaster damage.

These insurance policies protect the assets of businesses, including buildings and structures, machinery and equipment, manufacturing and processing tools, agricultural machinery, stock stored indoors or outdoors, products manufactured by the business, IT and office equipment, and security systems.

The types of damage covered can vary widely, including fire and explosion damage, damage caused by extreme weather, natural disasters and catastrophic events, theft and burglary, specialised machinery breakdown, loss of income due to business interruption, and the costs of mitigating damage. Cover can be arranged for specifically named risks, or comprehensive All Risk cover can also be selected.

Insurers offer property insurance products for businesses engaged in production, manufacturing, services and commerce, as well as for agricultural enterprises. Local authorities can also find cover for assets under their management, public facilities and infrastructure.

Liability insurance

An insurance safety net that protects your business if, in the course of its activities — even unintentionally and through no fault of its own — it causes damage to others.

Liability insurance provides protection in cases where the insured business, including sole proprietors, causes damage to another party and is therefore liable for compensation. An unexpected event, accident, professional mistake, employee omission or defective performance can have serious financial consequences — in such cases, the insurer compensates the injured party instead of the business.

The damage caused may involve property damage, financial loss, personal injury or purely financial loss. The injured party may be a third party outside the contract or a contractual partner, and the damage may arise either outside a contract or during the performance of a contract.

Main Types of Liability Insurance

  • General Liability – covers damage caused to others during the insured party’s general business activities and day-to-day operations.
  • Service Liability – covers errors arising during the provision of contracted services to customers that result in damage to a business partner.
  • Professional Liability – covers losses caused to a client or patient as a result of a professional error. This may include healthcare and medical professionals, teachers, accountants, auditors, lawyers, engineers, consultants, construction contractors and designers, security professionals and financial service providers.
  • Employer’s Liability – covers damage suffered by employees in connection with their employment where the employer is legally liable, for example in the case of a workplace accident.
  • Environmental Liability – covers unforeseen environmental damage caused in connection with the policyholder’s waste management activities. This may also apply when handling hazardous or non-hazardous construction and demolition waste.

Carrier's liability insurance

Minimizing risks whether you’re shipping your own goods, providing transportation services for others, or working in freight forwarding.

Insurance related to transport activities can be divided into two main groups: liability-type cover and insurance designed to protect the goods or cargo being transported. Insurance may be taken out by any party interested in preserving the condition of the goods and ensuring their safe delivery to the intended destination: the owner of the goods (whether transporting them personally or using a third party), the carrier, or the freight forwarder.

Main Types of Insurance

  • International road carrier liability insurance (CMR)
  • Domestic road carrier liability insurance (BÁF)
  • Property liability insurance for road freight carriers
  • Accident insurance for road freight carriers
  • Cargo transport property insurance
  • Cargo insurance

Insurance cover can be extended to activities carried out both domestically and abroad.

Travel insurance

If you or your colleagues are traveling abroad and want to stay safe while traveling, relaxing, having fun, or working.

Essential insurance for trips abroad, whether you are travelling alone, with your family, as part of a group, as a private individual or as an employee on a business trip. It is designed to help manage unexpected situations during your journey and to cover some or all of the associated costs, including medical treatment for accidents and illnesses, hospital expenses, loss of or damage to luggage, replacement of travel documents, search and rescue costs, vehicle assistance and other forms of emergency support.

You can usually choose from pre-designed insurance packages offered by insurers. When selecting the appropriate coverage limits, it is advisable to consider the countries you will be visiting, the nature and activities of your planned trip abroad, and the potential travel risks involved. After providing a few details, the insurance can usually be purchased online and activated immediately.
